Removing and installing/replacing vacuum
pump (M67TU)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove acoustic cover

Remove front plastic cover

Note:

Press brake pedal several times to reduce partial vacuum in
brake booster.

Unlock and detach vacuum line (1).

Release bolt (2) on intake pipe.

Release bolts and turn intake pipe bracket to one side.

Remove vacuum pump (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Check sealing ring (1) for damage and replace if necessary.

To assist assembly: coat sealing ring with antiseize agent.
