Removing and installing / replacing upper
section of steering column trim
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove lower section of steering column trim
•
Move steering column into "lower" and "extended" position
•
Remove wood trim on instrument panel, middle
Note:
The steering wheel/front section has been removed to simplify the
depiction in the graphics.
Unclip cover caps (1).
Unfasten screws.
Installation:
Replace expansion rivets.
Pull off upper section with a firm jolt and remove towards rear.
Installation:
Pins (1) must engage in locks (2).
