Removing and installing/replacing pressure
sensor for DSC
Special tools required:
•
34 1 290
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Switch off ignition
•
Protect brake system against unauthorized actuation
After completing work:
•
Flush brake system
•
Check pressure sensor for leaks
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Detach pressure sensor (2) with special tool 34 1 290 .
Installation:
•
Check sealing surfaces and thread of pressure sensor and of
hydraulic unit for damage.
•
Screw in a new pressure sensor immediately after
unscrewing the old pressure sensor.
•
Tightening torque 34 51 2AZ
