Removing and installing front bumper trim
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove both protective strips
•
Remove baseplate for number/license plate
Build date up to 03/2005:
•
Remove both fog lamps
Build date from 03/2005:
•
Remove both side grilles
Release screws (1) or clip (1) on left/right.
Release screws (1).
Important!
Bumper trim must not be pulled out sideways (risk of
damage).
Remove bumper trim straight towards front with aid of a 2nd
person.
If necessary, disconnect additional plug-in contacts and feed out
cable.
Installation:
Observe gap dimensions.
