Pre-delivery check

Diagnostic brief test

- 

Check engine oil level, top up if necessary

- 

Fuel lines and hoses:

visual inspection for routing, condition and leaks

- 

Check rim size, tyre size and type and tyre inflation pressure (also spare wheel)

- 

Brake and fuel system:

visual inspection for leaks, damage and correct position

- 

Remove spring blocker

- 

Engine, clutch, transmission, steering, service and parking brakes:

Check function

- 

Dewax can clean vehicle as prescribed.

- 

Compare scope of order with scope of delivery

- 

Stick special equipment list in Service Booklet, stamp Service Booklet

- 

Hand over Owner's Manual, Service Booklet, "Service Contacts" and "BMW Group Mobile Service" brochures, two
remote controls, a spare key, a spare key adapter and a key fob with vehicle

- 

Check nameplate and vehicle identification number

- 

Attach sticker for BMW Group Mobile Service

- 

Battery:

Check display (Magic Eye), if necessary: Charge battery

- 

Checking lighting system

- 

Checking horn, headlight flashers and hazard warning system

- 

Checking instrument and indication field lighting

- 

Check indicator and warning lamps and Check Control

- 

Wiper blades: Remove protective sleeves

- 

Check function of lighter

- 

Check automatic A/C, ventilation and fan

- 

Check function of central locking

- 

Radio: Check functions

- 

Switch through electrical consumers, check function of remote control and other optional extra fitted

- 

Check function of instruments
