Replacing rear left outer wheel arch section
(rear left side panel removed)

Read contents of Body, General.

Spot-weld bonding is used for the first time on the E65. A
specific procedure must be followed here.

Following new body parts are required (refer to EPC):

- 

(1) Wheel arch, outer, rear

- 

(2) Reinforcement, C-pillar, inner

Mark severance cut on inner C-pillar reinforcement in accordance
with measurement a and cut.

Measurement a = approx. 150 mm from roof edge.

Open weld joints in areas (1).

Remove inner C-pillar reinforcement.

Mark severance cut (1) on outer wheel arch in accordance with
illustration and cut.

RA  Replacing rear left outer wheel arch section (rear left side panel removed)
