Lever out caps (1) from trim (2).

Height adjustment of trunk lid:

Note:

For purposes of clarity, shown here without trim for "tail panel at
top".

- 

Slacken screws (1 to 3)

- 

Move rear lid lock lower section fully upwards

- 

Tighten down screws (1 to 3) again

- 

Close rear lid

- 

Measure and note down gap dimensions

- 

Open rear lid

- 

Slacken screws (1 to 3) and lower rear lid lock lower section

by difference from desired dimensions

- 

Tighten down screws (1 to 3)

- 

Check adjustment and repeat if necessary

- 

Note down adjusted gap dimensions

Tightening torque  51 24 6AZ

.

Contact pattern test:

Coat rear lid lock upper section with grease.

Rear lid lock upper section must not brush against lower

section.

Eccentric pin of rear lid lock lower section must not brush

against upper section.

Contact pattern of rear lid lock upper section on eccentric pin

should be central (settling behavior of rear lid is
compensated).
