Removing and installing / replacing trim on C-
pillar at bottom left or right
Special tools required:
•
00 9 317
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear entrance cover strip
•
Remove rear trim (C-pillar)
Version without electric rear seat adjustment only:
•
Remove rear seat back
Version with electric rear seat adjustment only:
•
Remove supplementary trim on C-pillar at bottom
Partially detach mucket (1).
Release screw (2).
Detach side trim (3) in direction of arrow from retainers (4).
Unclipping side trim (1):
-
Carefully insert special tool 00 9 317 between decorative
strip (2) and side trim (1)
-
Carefully press special tool to middle
-
Carefully pull off side trim (1) towards front
-
If necessary, disconnect plug connection for C-pillar trim
