Removing and installing/replacing air duct on
front left or right door trim
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front door trim panel.
Air duct:
Remove air duct (1) from door trim (4) as follows:
A
At front pull off in direction of arrow from air inlet trim (2)
B
At rear pull off in direction of arrow from air outlet trim (3)
Air inlet trim:
Release welded joint (1).
Lever air inlet trim (3) out of door trim (5) as follows:
-
Release lock (2)
-
Lever out guides (4) of air inlet trim (3) towards front
Installation:
Following parts of air inlet trim (4) must not be damaged:

Lock
Insert air inlet trim (4) in reverse order, refer to one work step
previously.
Air inlet trim (4) is secured by screwing a metal nut onto plastic
pin (3).
Tightening torque 51 41 7AZ.
