Replacement mechatronic
E65, E66 with GA6HP26/32Z (6HP26/32)
Situation:
On automatic transmission GA6HP26/32Z, the mechatronic with protective bar for solenoid
valve 2 is approved for replacement and for series production. In service, only the
mechatronic with protective bar for solenoid valve 2 may be installed or reused. When
removing and installing the mechatronic, it is essential that you observe the procedure
described in Repair Instructions 24 34 561.
Important!
Mechatronics without protective bar for solenoid valve 2 must not be reused after
being removed.
The following illustrations show the differences between the mechatronic with and without
protective bar for solenoid valve 2:

Manufacturing period: Start of series production until presumably July 2003
The protective bar is expected to be introduced to series production from July 2003.
