X Series E53 X5 3.0d (M57) OFFRD
Release hose clamp (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 10AZ.
Remove charge air pipe (2) with charge air hose completely.
Caution!
Fit charge air hoses without grease and dry.
Caution!
Seal off openings on turbocharger with a cap or similar.
Release banjo bolt (1).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 65 7AZ.
Disconnect oil line (2).
Note:
Seal off connection of oil line and bore in crankcase with a cap or
similar.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
Release screws (1).
Remove both holders and tie back to one side.
Installation:
Layout of vacuum hoses for turbocharger,
refer to 11 74 ...
Remove sealing cap (1) from heat shield.
Take out plugs.
