Removing and installing/replacing catalytic
converter (M57)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks after exhaust system has cooled
down.
Remove and install complete exhaust system (without front
exhaust pipe).
Measure length (B) of pipe sections on new catalytic converter.
Carry over determined measurement (B) to removed exhaust
system and mark cutting lines.
Cut through and deburr exhaust pipes between old catalytic
converter and both rear mufflers.
