Remove bearing pin (1).

Installation:

Grease bearing pins (1).

Grease,

refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids.

Note:

Do not remove support bearing (1).

Do not remove shift arm (2) from support bearing (1).

Installation:

Grease bearing pin of shift arm.

Grease,

refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids.

Note:

If bearing bush is damaged: replace bearing bush.

Press out bearing bush.

Coat new bearing bush with Circolight and then press into shift
arm until side flanges of bearing bush protrude uniformly.

Circolight,

refer to BMW Parts Service.
