Replacing a front pulse generator
Caution!
Note "General Data",
refer to 34 00 ...
Open connector housing, pull plug connector out of bracket and
disconnect.
Pull cable with rubber grommet out of bracket on spring strut.
Installation:
Ensure proper locking of plug connector and proper seating of
rubber grommets.
Release hexagon socket head cap screw (1), pull cable out of
mounting on spring strut. Pull ABS pulse generator out of hole.
Installation:
Clean bore for pulse generator and grease with Staburags
NBU 12/K lubricant (refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids).
Tightening Torque 34 51 6AZ.
