Removing and installing/replacing oil
pressure switch (M62)
Switch off ignition.
Note:
Drain the main flow oil filter in order to avoid an excessive
discharge of oil when the oil pressure switch is removed.
This work is described in the work step "BMW engine oil
service",
refer to 00 00 249.
Detach plug (1) from oil pressure switch.
Release screws.
Pull expansion tank (1) upwards and lay to one side.
Note:
Lines on expansion tank remain connected.
