Removing and installing/replacing left or right
catalytic converter (M62)
Remove and install complete exhaust system,
refer to 18 00 020.
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks after exhaust system has cooled
down.
Measure length (D) of pipe section on new catalytic converter.
Transfer determined length (D) to removed catalytic converter.
Cut through and deburr exhaust pipe at determined point between
catalytic converter and center muffler with special tool 00 2 210.
