Replacing radial seal for left manual shift
valve shaft (A5S 440Z)
Note:
After completion of work, top up transmission oil,
refer to 00 11 500 (A5S 440Z).
Caution!
It is absolutely essential to use the approved automatic
transmission fluid in this automatic transmission,
refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids MG24.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the automatic transmission!
Remove and install propeller shaft at front,
refer to 26 20 000.
Brace clamping bush (1) and loosen nut (2).
Adjust shift lever,
refer to 24 00 007.
