X Series E53 X5 4.4i (M62) OFFRD
Release all screws with large heads except for one screw in
center of shift unit. Grip shift unit, release last screw and remove
shift unit from transmission housing.
Installation:
Torx screws M6 x 60 (17 x).
Tightening torque,
refer to Technical Data 24 30 1AZ.
Installation:
When installing shift unit, insert journal (1) of locating disk into
groove of slide valve (2).
Installation:
The dowel pin of the shift unit must engage in the bore (1) in
the transmission housing.
Installation:
Observe dowel pin: it must be in the shift unit.
