To illustrate more clearly, operation is shown on a removed
steering column.
Lift out snap ring (2) and remove bush (3).
Installation:
Fit bush (3).
Install snap ring (2) with special tool 32 1 090 and steering
wheel screw until it snaps into place in groove of steering
spindle.
Lift out steering spindle bearing.
Take out bearing inner sleeve.
Installation:
Insert bearing inner sleeve with bevelled end pointing to
steering lock.
