Removing and installing/replacing rear left or
right coil spring
Important!
Both coil springs on the relevant axle must be replaced only in
the event of corrosion breakage!
After installation:
•
Check headlight adjustment, correct if necessary
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear wheel
•
Remove rear pulse generator from wheel carrier
•
Remove rear shock absorber from swinging arm
•
Remove rear brake caliper on wheel carrier and tie back
•
Remove guide arm from wheel carrier
•
Remove control arm from wheel carrier
•
Remove stabilizer link from swinging arm
•
Remove integral arm from wheel carrier and swinging arm
•
Detach swinging arm from rear axle carrier at front
Press wheel carrier downwards.
Pull out coil spring to the side.
Installation:
Check spring pads, replace if necessary.
Coat lower spring pad (1) with antiseize agent.
