X Series E53 X5 4.4i (M62) OFFRD
Release screws (1) and detach control unit from hydraulic unit.
Installation:
Replace screws (1).
Check sealing face (1) for damage (visual inspection).
Important!
Clean sealing surface (1); do not use any sharp-edged tools
or aggressive cleaning agents for this purpose.
Check contact lugs (2) for corrosion or damage.
Installation:
Replace hydraulic unit if damage to sealing surface (1) or
contact lugs (2) is found.
Carefully push control unit (1) onto hydraulic unit (2).
Make sure solenoid coils are not tilted.
Housing edge of control unit (1) must slide over shoulder on
hydraulic unit (2).
