Replacing control unit for left xenon headlight
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove headlight
Up to 10/2003:
Release screws (1) and hose clip (2).
Remove protective cap (3).
Installation:
If necessary, replace seal for protective cap (3).
Turn ignition unit of xenon lamp (1) counterclockwise through
approx. 45
°
and remove.
Pull out ignition unit of xenon lamp (1) through opening in
protective cap.
Remove control unit for xenon headlight.
From 10/2003:
Release screws (1).
Remove control unit for xenon headlight (2) from xenon
headlight (3).
