Removing and installing/replacing Interlock
cable
Caution!
After installation, check Interlock function.
Lift off shift lever cover and unfasten Interlock cable from shift
tower.
Connect new Interlock cable to old cable with wire or a cord.
Installation:
Adjust Interlock cable.
Unfasten screws.
Disconnect plugs from gong and On-Board Diagnosis.
Remove instrument panel trim.
Remove lower section of steering column trim.
Unfasten Interlock cable on steering lock and remove, inserting
new Interlock cable at the same time.
