Mark partition wall, assembly compartment, according to
illustration, cut (1) and open weld seams (2) to wheel arch
support.

A = 60 mm

B = 180 mm

C = Center, hole

D = Center, radius

Open welding spots (1) on wheel arch supports to engine carrier
shell, exterior and interior.

Note:

Adhere to following severance cut otherwise reinforcement of
engine carrier will be cut.

Mark cutting line on wheel arch support and cut up to wheel arch
support.

A = 140 mm from firewall cross-member

B = 200 mm from edge of bore on engine carrier

(measured parallel to lower edge of engine carrier)

RA  Replacing left front engine carrier (without wheel housing) (partial replacement
