Clean all connection points on new luggage compartment floor
part and body and coat with weld primer.
Note:
Holes for plug welding are already drilled into new part.
Spot-weld areas (1) and (3).
Plug- and spot-weld areas (2).
Note:
After painting, reattach antinoise mat in area (3).
Drill new cross-member part at rear in areas (1) for plug welding.
Clean all connection points on new part and body and coat with
weld primer.
Spot- and plug-weld new part in areas (1) and (2) respectively.
Clean all connection points on both holders (3) and body and coat
with weld primer.
Positionholder (3) according to measurement A and weld (4).
Measurement A = 160 mm from outer holder edge to impact
absorber screw points.
Seal seams on body.
RA Replacing complete rear luggage compartment floor (tail panel removed)
