Open welding spots (3) on door pillar at front.
Mark and cut cutting line (1) on outer cowl in accordance with
measurement a.
Measurement a = 350 mm from roof edge
Mark and cut cutting lines (2) on entrance cover in accordance
with measurement b.
Measurement b = 100 mm or 50 mm from screw holes.
Mark and cut entrance reinforcement in accordance with
measurement a.
Measurement a = 20 mm from front cutting line on cover,
entrance.
Open welding seams on inner door pillar of interior (1) and
underfloor (2).
Take off door pillar.
Mark new part on cowl (1), entrance cover (2) and entrance
reinforcement (3) in accordance with previous severance cuts, cut
and fit.
Drill flange to inner support carrier (4) for plug welding.
Clean all connection points and coat with weld primer.
RA Replacing front left door column (partial replacement) (front side panel removed
