Replacing left or right rear door trim panel
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove rear door trim panel
•
Remove inside door opener
•
Remove inside door handle
Version with HiFi system:
•
Remove mid-range speaker
Attach clip (2) to frame (1).
Version with HiFi system:
Cutout (1) for mid-range speaker must be sawn out with rotating
circular band saw (2).
Use rotating circular band saw with 72 to 73 mm dia..
Check centre marking; if necessary, mark centre again.
Important!
Risk of damage!
Do not drill through foam material (C), fleece (B) and
fabric (A). Fabric may tear and fleece may wrap itself around
drill bit and be torn out of door trim panel.
First drill through plastic layer (D) of door trim panel with drill bit at
marked point.
