X Series E53 X5 4.8is (N62-S) OFFRD
Release screws in head airbag cassette in rear compartment.
Release screws on head airbag gas generator in rear
compartment at roof cross-member.
Slide gas generator upwards and remove complete airbag module
towards front.
Installing head airbag gas generator in rear compartment:
Lug (2) gas generator must enter opening in roof cross-member
(1).
Secure gas generator with the two retaining screws only.
