Removing and installing/replacing front
(inside) left or right entrance cover strip
Special tools required:
•
00 9 317
Note:
To remove the footwell side trim from the A-pillar, it is only
necessary to detach entrance cover strip in the front area.
Preliminary tasks are not required.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove panel for door pillar.
•
Remove entrance cover strip at rear
Note:
Front seat is shown removed for purposes of clarity.
Detach mucket (1) in area of entrance cover strip (2).
Unclip entrance cover strip (2) with special tool 00 9 317
starting at front.
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty retainer (3).
If necessary, release clips (4) from vehicle.
