Adjusting rear lid lower section
Caution!
Do not damage adjoining body parts.
Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitted if the
existing adjustment options are not sufficient.
Read contents of Body, General.
Observe gap dimensions.
Adjust rear lid lower section to fit before rear lid upper section.
The rear lid must be provided with all attachment parts for correct
adjustment.
Raise trim (1).
Slacken screws (1) on rear lid hinge to rear lid until such stage
that rear lid can still be moved.
Adjust rear lid.
Tightening torque 41 62 6AZ
.
When rear lid lower section is closed, lock strikers must not make
contact with or brush against rear lid locks.
