Removing and installing (replacing) center
trim for instrument panel
Special tools required:
•
00 9 317
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove center fresh air grill
Release screws (1).
Carefully unclip trim (2) with special tool 00 9 317 at retaining
points (3) and pull out.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Remove center trim for instrument panel (3).
Installation:
Make sure retainers (2) on trim are correctly seated.
If necessary, replace faulty retainers.
Replacement:
•
Remove centre console switch centre
•
Remove operator unit for heater/air conditioner
