X Series E83 X3 2.0d (N47) OFFRD
Secure special tool 11 8 750 to the crankcase using the two
screws (1) for the coolant pump.
Slacken nut (1).
Tightening torque: 11 27 2AZ
.
Undo screws (2 and 3)
Tightening torque: 11 27 1AZ
Note:
The gearwheel is press-fitted with a taper on the counterbalance
shaft and can be released only with the aid of special tool
11 8 870 .
Special tool 11 8 870 can be removed again by hand once the
gearwheel has been released from the counterbalance shaft.
Screw special tool 11 8 870 into the gearwheel of the
counterbalance shaft and release the counterbalance shafts from
the gearwheels.
Important!
Risk of damage! to crankcase.
Use special tool 00 2 300 to move engine into vertical
position.
Remove counterbalance shaft (1) in direction of arrow from
crankcase (2).
Note:
