Removing and installing or replacing battery
positive lead (between starter and battery
positive terminal) (N47)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove front underbody protection
Notes on disconnecting battery
Disconnect battery negative lead
Detach B+ lead from battery positive terminal (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 12 52 4AZ
.
Detach B+ lead from alternator (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque, 12 52 2AZ
Disconnect B+ lead with protective tube.
Disconnect B+ lead at starter.
Installation:
Tightening torque 12 52 3AZ
.
Remove B+ lead.
Add final details to vehicle.
