Important!
After completion of work, check transmission oil level.
Use only the approved transmission fluid.
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in serious
damage to the automatic transmission!
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Disconnect battery
•
Remove front underbody protection
•
Remove reinforcement plate.
Important notes on installation are described in this work
step.
•
Remove complete exhaust system
•
Remove diesel particulate filter
•
Remove heat shield at front and rear
•
Remove front propeller shaft from front differential and tie to
one side
