X Series E83 X3 3.0d (M57TU) OFFRD
Fit special tool 11 6 320 on exhaust camshaft.
Note:
When tightening camshaft screw connection, grip camshafts
at hexagon drive.
Tighten down exhaust sprocket wheel with special tool
00 9 120 .
Tightening torque, 11 31 4AZ
.
Fit special tool 11 6 320 on inlet camshaft.
Note:
When tightening camshaft screw connection, grip camshafts
at hexagon drive.
Tighten down inlet sprocket wheel with special tool 00 9 120
.
Tightening torque, 11 31 4AZ
.
Note:
Remove special tools 11 6 321 and 11 2 300 .
Using special tool 11 6 480 , crank engine twice in direction of
engine rotation until first cylinder is back in TDC firing position.
Check camshaft setting.
Caution!
Do not turn the engine back.
Fit special tool 11 6 321 on inlet camshaft (1).
Note:
Special tool 11 6 321 must lie flush on cylinder head.
