X Series E83 X3 3.0d (M57TU) OFFRD
Crank engine at vibration damper in direction of rotation with
special tool 11 6 480 until screw is visible in opening.
Release all screws of torque converter with special tool
24 1 110 .
Crank engine further and release remaining screws.
Tightening torque 24 40 1AZ
.
Protect torque converter from slipping out. To do so, insert special
tools 24 4 131 / 24 4 137 in opening in transmission housing.
Clamp torque converter.
Installation:
Before joining transmission with engine, remove special tools
24 4 131 / 24 4 137 .
Unfasten screws and remove cross member.
Tightening torque 22 32 4AZ/5AZ
.
Detach plugs (1) and (2) from servomotor.
