Removing and installing/replacing diesel
particulate filter (M57T2)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
E83, E90, E91 only: Remove right engine support arm
•
Remove complete exhaust system
Pull off hose (1).
Unlock plug connection (2) and remove.
Unlock connector (2) and remove.
Unlock plug (3) and remove.
Release screw.
Tightening torque 18 32 1AZ
.
Remove V-clamp (1).
Installation:
V-clamp must be replaced each time it is opened.
Replace seal.
