Removing and installing/replacing front left or
right seat belt
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove panel for door post
Warning!
Read and comply with safety regulations for handling airbag
modules and pyrotechnical belt tensioners.
Improper handling can lead to triggering of the pyrotechnical
seat belt tensioner or side airbag, resulting in injuries.
Switch off ignition.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 72 11 11AZ
.
Remove seat belt (2).
Installation:
Make sure tab of seat belt (2) is correctly installed between
retaining lugs.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 72 11 19AZ.
Remove belt guide (2).
Unscrew bolt (3).
Tightening torque 72 11 20AZ.
Remove belt (4).
