Replacing complete ELV steering lock
(electric steering wheel lock)
Caution!
After installation, you must code the ELV.
Check all functions of turn signal flashers, wipers etc.
Remove steering spindle bearing at top.
Remove upper section of steering column trim.
Detach instrument panel trim.
Detach plug from switch unit.
Unscrew bolt (1).
Press hook inwards on both sides and remove switch unit.
Press lock on plug for ELV and pull lever downwards.
