Z Series E85 Z4 3.0i (M54) ROADST
Release and lower bearing block.
Clearance A=9 cm.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 33 32 13AZ.
Damaged threads in body-side sleeves can be repaired with
Helicoil thread inserts. Install Helicoil thread inserts flush with
original thread.
Installation:
Pay attention to top vent line (1) when installing fuel tank.
Feed vent line (1) through opening (2) into wheel arch.
Support tank with lifter.
Release screws (1) on left and right.
Remove clamping band (2) on left and right.
Remove tank downwards with assistance of a 2nd person.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 16 11 1AZ.
When replacing fuel tank:
•
Modify fuel pump.
•
Modify fuel filter.
