Removing and installing/replacing hands-free
microphone
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove complete ceiling light
Unclip complete cowl panel insert (1) in direction of arrow from
trim (2).
Disconnect plug connection from hands-free microphone (3) and
remove complete cowl panel insert (2).
Expand catch (1) and feed hands-free microphone (2) in
direction of arrow out of cowl panel insert (3).
Installation:
Arrow on hands-free microphone (2) points in driving direction.
Important!
Disconnecting the plug connection for the hands-free
microphone or emergency SOS call button results in fault
memory entries in the telephone control unit (limitation in the
emergency SOS call system).
After fitting, read out fault memory and if necessary delete
entries.
