Z Series E86 Z4 3.0Si (N52) COUPE
Support exhaust system with jack and special tool 31 2 220 and
secure against falling out.
Unscrew nuts (1).
Tightening torque 18 20 1AZ
.
Remove retaining plate (2).
Unscrew nut (3).
Tightening torque 18 20 1AZ
.
Installation:
Replace both seals (1).
Replace self-locking nuts.
Coat threads with copper paste, refer to BMW Parts Service.
Release nuts on rubber mount of rear muffler.
Release nuts on rubber mount of rear muffler.
Lower exhaust system with jack and remove.
