Removing and installing/replacing storage
compartment
Special tools required:
•
00 9 318
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove panel for rear storage box
•
Remove handbrake lever cover
•
Remove trim for preselector lever (gear lever)
•
Remove switch unit in center console
Lever out trim (1) with special tool
00 9 318 on both sides.
Release cap (2) on left/right.
Slide cover (3) in direction of arrow and remove.
Installation:
Following parts of cover (3) must not be damaged or missing:
