When the oil is changed the Oil Life Monitor will need to be reset, refer to GM Oil Life System - Resetting. The value of this mode is retained during
ignition OFF.
Boost Gage
If the vehicle is equipped with a 3.8L V6 supercharged engine the DIC will display the amount of boost (psi or kPa) the engine is receiving. The DIC
receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating boost.
