INTERMEDIATE PIPE REPLACEMENT ON WELDED EXHAUST SYSTEMS
MODELS AFFECTED: ALL 1985 AND 1986 BUICKS WITH WELDED EXHAUST SYSTEMS
When replacing the intermediate pipe on an originally equipped welded system, a service muffler assembly will also be needed unless the system has
been previously repaired. The intermediate replacement pipe outlet has the same outside diameter as the inlet of the original equipment muffler, thus the
need for a service muffler with a larger inlet.
