INSUFFICIENT WARM AIR TO DRIVER SIDE
MODELS AFFECTED: 1985 ELECTRA
A condition may be experienced on some early 1985 Electras of a left to right side heater output imbalance. This can result in the driver's left foot feeling
cold.
The condition can be repaired by the following:
1.
Disconnect battery negative cable.
2.
Remove lower instrument panel close out panels and heater duct.
3.
Remove instrument panel cover, speedometer cluster, instrument panel trim and parts necessary to remove distribution duct assembly.
4.
Remove air distribution duct assembly.
