About the LaCrosse
The LaCrosse replaced the Century and Regal for 2005 as Buick's front-drive mid-size saloon, on the W platform (sold in Canada as the Allure); the 2008–2009 LaCrosse Super had a V8. The second generation of 2010 moved to the Epsilon II platform shared with the Cadillac XTS.
