Rear Seat Back Sound Barrier Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Cushion Replacement).
2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Folding) (See: Rear Seat Back Replacement (Folding))Rear Seat Back
Replacement (Non-folding) (See: Rear Seat Back Replacement (Non-folding)).
3. On stationary seat back models, remove the child seat belt bracket. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement (See: Restraint
Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Child Restraint/Child Seat Tether Attachment/Service and Repair).
4. Remove the rear window trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair).
5. Remove the upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service
and Repair).
6. Remove the lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service
and Repair).
7. On the split rear seat, remove the push-in retainers holding the rear compartment trim. Move the trim into the rear compartment.
8. Remove the sound barrier.
