3. Install the cable (1) into the shifter cable adjustable lock (3).

Tip:  Ensure that the locking tab on the shift cable is fully seated. In order to properly seat the locking tab, it may be necessary to use the aid of a tool.
When properly seated, the top of the locking tab should be flush with the housing.

4. Install the cable (1) to transmission shifter base (2).
5. Install the console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair/Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement).

6. Install the transmission range selector lever cable (2) to the cable bracket (3).
