Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Remove the PCM. 
2. Remove the EVAP vent solenoid. 
3. Remove the PCM bracket attaching hardware.
4. Remove the PCM bracket.
5. Remove the EVAP vent solenoid bracket.
6. Remove the purge, fuel vapor, and vent lines from the EVAP canister.
7. Remove the EVAP canister from vehicle.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Install the EVAP canister to the vehicle.
2. Connect the EVAP vent hose and tighten the hose clamp.
3. Connect the purge and vapor lines to the EVAP canister. Make sure the connections are correct.
4. Install the vent solenoid bracket.
5. Install the PCM bracket.
6. Install the EVAP vent solenoid. 
7. Install the two PCM bracket bolts and the two PCM bracket retainers.
8. Install the PCM.
